Leadership

BoyScoutsLGBT

The Cub Scout Leadership is two-fold. There are Cubmasters at the Pack level and Den leaders for each rank.

Our leaders are trained to the highest level possible, participating in continual growth and leadership programs. The Cubmasters and Den Leader follow the BSA’s guides based on the rank of the den, which are designed to support the purposes of Cub Scouting and are chosen to help promote the overall aims of Scouting:

  • To develop a boy’s character,
  • Train him in good citizenship,
  • And encourage him to become more fit—physically, mentally, and morally.

FAQ

The Boy Scouts of America have assembled a Frequently Asked Questions page for Parents, Volunteers, Alumni and Visitors.  This FAQ will hopefully answer your questions on how you can join your local Scouting program as a Scout, Parent or Volunteer.

Welcome to ScoutTrack — Online Achievement Tracking

Internet based record keeping for Cub Scouts Packs and Boy Scout Troops in BSA byScoutTrack.

Required Training

Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers.

Youth Protection training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer’s Youth Protection training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be re-registered.

BSA-Being A Cub Scout

Being a Cub Scout means you are a member of a worldwide youth movement that stands for certain values and beliefs. Cub Scouting is more than something to do. It’s all about the boy you are and the person you will become.

Uniforms, Advancement, Awards, and Recognitions

Did you know that you can earn more than 90 awards as a Cub Scout? Whether it’s a rank advancement, an adventure loop or pin, or one of the many other individual awards, there is plenty for you to set your sights on.

There are several location and online options for acquiring uniforms. Scout Stuff   Northeast Georgia Council    Lawrenceville Service Center   Atlanta Area Scout Shop
